TYBRIN Corporation is a privately-owned company founded in 1972 by owner and CEO Bill Pennington. With 1400+ employees worldwide, TYBRIN is a premier provider of process-based systems and software engineering services. A vast majority of our TYBRIN employees are degreed professionals, with many holding advanced degrees in the engineering and scientific disciplines. Performance and Customer Satisfaction

TYBRIN consistently receives top cost, schedule, technical, and management scores on our contracts. In 2006-2007, we were listed as the number 23 provider of IT services for the Air Force. In 2006 we were listed as the 64th largest Contractor Firm in Washington Technology's Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors. We have been listed in the Small Business Administration's "Top 100 Small Business Government Contractors Report" multiple years. In 2002, we received the GSA Federal Technology Service (FTS) "Industry Partner Excellence Award" and were also awarded the SBA's "Administrator's Award for Excellence".

Engineering and Business Process Maturity

In 1992, TYBRIN made a commitment to invest in the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) CMM® process. CMM® is a DOD-sponsored industry standard for improving software processes to enhance the reliability and quality of software products and reduce costs to the customer for acquisition and sustainment. TYBRIN was originally appraised at CMM® Level 3 in 1997 and maintained its rating through periodic, independent SEI-authorized appraisals and a continuous focus on quality products and services.

In 2002, TYBRIN migrated to the new comprehensive SEI model, called Capability Maturity Model Integration® (CMMI®), to include both software and system engineering disciplines. TYBRIN has had several independent SEI-authorized appraisals using the new model and has achieved CMMI® Maturity Level and Capability Level ratings in the Mission Planning Development Group; Mission Planning Support Contract, Logistics Group; and the Technical Systems and Services Group. DOD considers the CMMI® model a core component to an organization's ability to provide the high quality, reliable engineering support necessary in today's marketplace. Not only does TYBRIN train its employees in these defined/repeatable CMMI® processes, we also train our Government partners to jointly drive down cost and risk, while enhancing performance- providing low-risk solutions for our customers. To further strengthen our ability to enhance performance and quality for our customer, TYBRIN is deploying ISO international quality standards to leverage business process improvement efforts. The synergy of these continuous process improvement initiatives enables TYBRIN's experienced professionals to provide higher quality services and products that are delivered faster and are more cost-effective.
