Real-Time Data Processing: Designing systems and developing complex
software to acquire and process test data; providing on-site test support for
live weapon and electronic combat testing for the U.S. Army and Air Force.
Data Reduction and Analysis: Collecting test data from an array of land
range and airborne instrumentation systems; processing the data using advanced
methods and techniques for both real-time and post-test applications. Our
experience base includes development of range instrumentation and test support
for guns, bombs, missiles, electronic warfare/electronic combat systems,
command and control systems, sensors and seekers, and aircraft weapon
compatibility.
Simulation/Modeling: Creating accurate computer simulations of
aircraft/weapons/target interaction; maintaining an extensive database of
aerodynamic, explosive and physical characteristics of a wide range of Army,
Navy, Air Force, and Strategic Defense Initiative vehicles.

Computer Systems Engineering and Integration: Combining diverse
components from multiple vendors into reliable, efficient systems; providing
system management for most major computers and operating systems.
Telemetry Engineering: Covering the entire spectrum of high-speed
telemetry, from circuit design and complex systems integration to
acquisition/post-mission software development and data decoding and
processing.
Aircraft Compatibility Engineering: Conducting analytical modeling,
computer simulation, and ground and flight testing (through final clearance
certification) in support of aircraft weapons integration. Applied engineering
disciplines include aeroelasticity, stability and control, ballistics, flight
and ground loads, computational fluid dynamics, and computerized physical
fit.
Technical and Systems Engineering: Testing and verifying air traffic
control software to meet tough FAA standards; designing advanced data
acquisition and processing systems for the F-22; performing complex range
planning; supporting flight test projects; acquiring advanced electronic
warfare test capabilities for Air Force and Navy anechoic test facilities;
designing enterprise-wide networks using office PCs and engineering
workstations.
Software Engineering: Full lifecycle software system development and
support from requirements analysis through complete maintenance activities,
including the re-engineering of legacy systems. As an SEI CMM Level 3
organization, TYBRIN is able to capture requirements, design a robust
architecture, and implement a high quality, tested product for real-time
processing or commercial business applications in a wide array of
environments.

Laser Hazards: Ascertaining Nominal Optical Hazard Distances (NOHD),
Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE), laser category, and radiation hazard
footprints.
RF Radiation Hazards: Analyzing RF radiation from radars, microwave
emitters, and electromagnetic railguns; determining safe exposure levels for
people, fuels, electronic devices, and fuses.
Risk Assessment: Determining the risk inherent in air-to-air,
air-to-ground, ground-to-air, and intercontinental ballistic weapons testing;
predicting and providing footprint maps for ricochet and fragmented/intact
weapon impact, and analyzing potential population, aircraft, shipping, and
property hazards.
Wave Propagation: Performing sonic boom prediction and analysis,
including noise source intensity, structural effects, atmospheric effects,
aircraft type and flight effects, minimum safe distances, and overpressure
footprint mapping.
Mission Support: Developing real-time algorithms for processing
tracking data, computing debris footprints and instantaneous impact points;
supporting high-resolution animated graphics displays, mission software
certification tests, and training simulators and scenarios.

Range Resource Scheduling and Flight Management: Designing, developing,
and maintaining the large, complex range scheduling and operational management
systems used by Eglin AFB, one of the nation’s busiest flight test
facilities.
Aircraft Mission Planning: Producing multi-platform software capable of
providing navigation and fuel planning information for aircraft around the
world, employing geographical coordinates, digital terrain, and flight
characteristic databases.
Air Combat Training System (ACTS): Developing database software,
converting data reduction software, and providing on-site test support for a
real-time computer-based data communication and tracking network that provides
information on the flight dynamics, weapons system status, and weapon firings
of each aircraft engaged in an instrumented arena.
Non-Nuclear and Nuclear Weapon Delivery: Producing software programs
that support rapid pre-mission weapon planning by providing non-nuclear and
nuclear weapons delivery parameters, bomb fall ballistics, escape maneuver
studies, and post-delivery analysis without the use of cumbersome table
planning data.
